Description
Calcium cyanamide
For vegetable gardens, gardens and lawns - Microgranular nitrate - EC fertilizer
CHARACTERISTICS : Characteristic compound that undergoes a series of chemical transformations in the soil: calcium cyanamide> cyanamide> urea> ammonia salt. From this derives a series of typical properties 1) gradual availability of nitrogen as the described reactions take place. 2) The transformation is influenced by the PH of the soil (+ fast in a neutral / acid environment + slow in an alkaline environment. 3) The lime content that forms calcium carbonate acts as a corrective to acid soils. 4) Multi-year treatments with calcium cyanamide show substantial improvements on the natural fertility of the soil. CALCIOCIANAMIDE also manifests a polyvalent action against fungi, young weeds, insects and other animal parasites present in the soil (grillotalpa, mole, beetle, etc.).
DOSES AND METHOD OF USE : Nitrated CALCIUMCYANAMIDE is applied on all crops for which the fertilizer is notoriously suitable, in particular it is used on horticultural crops, lawns and for the preparation of compost. The distribution must be uniform and preferably carried out on moist soil. CALCIOCIANAMIDE must be distributed 2-3 weeks before sowing or transplanting crops. The use in cover, that is in the presence of crops, can be carried out by operating so that the product does not come into contact with leaves, stems or roots. The doses of use are for horticultural crops of 8-10 kg per 100 square meters while for lawns of 3-5 kg per 100 square meters. For the preparation of the compost, distribute on the different layers of vegetable residues, 20-25 cm thick previously moistened, 150-200 gr / m2 of calcium cyanamide. After 4-6 months the soil is ready to be distributed and used as an excellent organic fertilizer.
WARNINGS : Avoid that the fertilizer can come into direct contact with stems, leaves and roots; do not distribute on germinating, just born or recently transplanted crops. CALCIUMCYANAMIDE can be mixed with other fertilizers (urea, potassium salts) with the exception of ammonium salts and superphosphates
