  • Sonata is the biological fungicide based on Bacillus pumilus QST 2808, a bacterium naturally present in the soil, in the rhizosphere and on the surfaces of plant organisms with unique properties and a marked antioid activity.
  • Sonata has a unique and triple mechanism of action: it competes with the pathogenic fungus for the living space (spore component), prevents the development of fungal hyphae (amino-sugar component) and induces systemic defense reactions in the plant (jasmonic acid component) .
  • Furthermore, Sonata's activity is not affected by temperatures and this makes it an extremely flexible instrument, usable throughout the season. It is miscible with the main agrochemicals and is allowed in organic farming.

  • Three levels of protection, one product
  • 1. Amino-sugars: block the enzymes responsible for the cell wall of the fungus leading to its death.
  • 2. Bacillus pumilus QST2808 spores: compete with the pathogen and prevent the germination of fungal spores by creating a barrier between the fungus and the plant.
  • 3. Jasmonic acid: produced by the plant in contact with Sonata, which induces self-defense reactions for prolonged protection of the crop.
