TECHNICAL FEATURES

  • ACTIVUS EC is a pre-emergence and pre-transplant selective herbicide against wheat, barley, corn, garlic, onion, carrot, sunflower, potato, pea, tobacco, soy, turf.
  • It is effective against weeds: Graminaceae: Echinochloa crus-galli (Common Giavone), Digitaria sanguinalis (Sanguinella), Setaria spp. (Pabbio), Alopecurus myosuroides (Foxtail), Sorghum halepense from seed (Sorghetta), Panicum dichotomiflorum (American Giavone).
  • Large-leaved: Solanum nigrum (Black nightshade), Chenopodium album (Wild Farinaccio), Amaranthus spp., Fumaria officinalis (Fumaria), Capsella bursa-pastoris (Shepherd's purse), Portulaca oleracea (Porcelain grass), Polygonum spp., Thlaspi arvensis (Erba storna), Papaver rhoeas (Poppy) Atriplex pp. (Atriplice), European heliotropium (wild Ellotropium), Cardamine irsuta (Dentaria), Euphorbia spp. (Euphorbia), Myosotis arvensis (Forget-me-not), Mercurialis annua (Mercorella), Urticadioica (Common nettle) Veronica spp. (Veronica).
  • It is not effective against perennial weeds in general.
  • Mainly active in the seed germination phase, the product controls sensitive weeds also in the seedling phase as long as it is not beyond the stage of 2-3 true leaves for dicotyledons and of the 1st leaf for grasses.
  • Composition: pure Pendimetalin 31.70% (= 330 g / l).
  • Formulation: Concentrated suspension.
  • Reg. Min. Health: n ° 08.646 of 31.01.1995.
  • Classification: see table on the final page.
  • Safety interval: 28 days for asparagus;
  • 60 days for carrot, artichoke, bean, green bean;
  • 75 days for garlic, onion, fnocchio, aubergine, pepper, tomato; 90 days for barley, corn, rye, wheat and rice;
  • 100 days for cabbage.
  • The treatment must be carried out on finely worked soil, without clods and well leveled so that no stagnant water can form. In the event that the soil does not have a sufficient level of humidity and rain does not occur within 7-10 days from the treatment, it is necessary to irrigate in order to allow the product to penetrate into the first layers of soil. The crops on which weeding is carried out must have a regular and uniform sowing depth (3-4 cm) without having seeds uncovered on the surface.
