READY-TO-USE LUMACHICIDE BAIT

RAIN RESISTANT.

Composition - 4% Metaldehyde in palatable support.
Intended use - Plants and seedbeds of floral and ornamental crops.
Features - Ready-to-use snail bait activated with
metaldehyde, a special substance that acts by contact and ingestion:
overstimulating the secretion of mucus causes paralysis
of molluscs and their death from dehydration. Produced for
wet extrusion, the bait comes in the form of specials
granules resistant to mold and resistant to the action of rain
and the wind. The bait contains a particular bitter substance which
it is not felt by gastropods but makes ingestion difficult
accidental by humans and pets.
Methods and doses of use - At the rate of 250-400 grams per 100
sqm., distribute the baits in small piles or in rows, preferably
in the evening after a rain or good watering; do not irrigate,
o irrigate only moderately, for at least 2-3 days after treatment;
locate the bait preferably in a shaded area
or in any case sheltered from direct sunlight.
