TECHNICAL FEATURES:

SYNGENTA TELLUS is a biological fungicide based on two Thricoderma strains (T. asperellum and T. gamsii) in wettable powder formulation (WP).

The selection of the two trichoderma strains ensures rapid colonization of the roots and the soil by taking away space and nourishment from pathogenic fungi and by enzymatically attacking their cell walls.

Composition: T. asperellum (strain ICC 012) g 2 - T. gamsii (strain ICC 080) g 2 - (CFU colony forming units 3x107 per gram)

SYNGENTA TELLUS is Syngenta's new biological crop protection product for the control of soil fungi that attack the root system and the collar of a wide range of horticultural, flower, ornamental and tree crops.

It is very effective, in particular against Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Verticillium dhaliae, Thielaviopsis basicola and Phytophthora capsici.

SYNGENTA TELLUS is made up of two different natural strains of Trichoderma (Trichoderma asperellum and Trichoderma gamsii) specially selected to perform an antagonistic activity against pathogens thus managing to guarantee excellent preventive efficacy in a wide range of environmental situations, types of soil and seasonal conditions. Thanks to the excellent eco / toxicological profile Tellus is included in the protocols of integrated cultivation and organic farming (formulated not classified). TELLUS is compatible with a high number of active substances and fits perfectly within the integrated defense strategy of Syngenta, completing the protection program of the initial stages of plant development, in this way it is able to guarantee prompt protection from diseases, a better crop health and better yield. The use in defense programs with traditional agropharmaceuticals guarantees a valid anti-resistance strategy and allows to contain the total number of active substances used per production cycle in crop protection. According to its characteristics, SYNGENTA TELLUS perfectly meets the needs of producers interested in the sustainable management of crops and attentive to requests for marketing on both national and foreign markets.

SYNGENTA TELLUS A barrier that prevents infections Once established in the rhizosphere, Trichoderma asperellum and Trichoderma gamsii act by rapidly developing and colonizing the roots and the soil area around the root system where they perform their antagonistic action, competing for resources with soil pathogenic fungi. In this way they steal vital space and nutrients from organisms harmful to the plant, hindering their growth and spread and creating a real physical barrier that hinders the access of pathogens to the sites of infection. According to its specific mode of action, TELLUS must be applied preventively and its use is recommended as part of an integrated defense strategy alongside commonly used fungicides (for example Ridomil Gold® SL). In addition to the effective control of the main fungal diseases of the soil, TELLUS also guarantees a significant effect of improving the general conditions of the root system. The greater production of secondary roots results in a more intense development of the crop in the early stages and in a more rapid overcoming of transplant stress.
