- For the treatment of flea (Ctenocephalides spp) and tick (Dermacentor reticulatus) infestations. The insecticidal efficacy against new flea infestations persists for up to 8 weeks. The product has a persistent acaricidal efficacy for up to 4 weeks against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus). If ticks of some species (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus) are present when administering the product, not all ticks could be killed within 48 hours of the first application but could be killed within a week. The product can be used as part of the strategic treatment for the control of Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD) when this has been previously diagnosed by the veterinarian.
- For external use only. Administer by topical application to the skin according to live weight as follows: 1 pipette of 1.34 ml per dog weighing more than 10 kg and up to 20 kg.
- 1) hold the pipette upright. Shake the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the contents are within the widest part of the pipette. 2) Break the seal at the top of the spot-on pipette along the marked line. 3) Part the dog's coat until the skin is visible. 4) Place the tip of the pipette directly against the exposed skin and gently squeeze a few times to empty the contents. 5) Repeat the operation in one or two different points of the dog's back. It is important to make sure that the product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick it and to make sure that animals do not lick each other after the treatment. Care must be taken to avoid excessive moistening of the hair with the product as this will cause a sticky appearance of the hair at the point of application. However, if this happens, it will disappear within 24 hours after application.
