Can CE CANDEGGINA CLASSICA be used on colored garments? ACE BLEACH TRADITIONAL, like other traditional bleaches, has been designed for use on white garments and cannot be used on colored garments as the color can be damaged (e.g. discoloration) due to a chemical reaction between hypochlorite sodium and the dye present in the fabric. However, some white items that include colored edges or stripes can be washed with TRADITIONAL ACE BLEACH. In this case it is recommended to check the resistance of the color on an invisible part of the garment. To be able to understand if bleach can fade a fabric, do a little test: dilute 15 ml of bleach, about a tablespoon, in 60 ml of water (about 3/4 of a glass). After wetting a hidden area of the garment with the solution and waiting about a minute, dry the surface with a cloth. If no color lightening occurs, the fabric can be bleached. In any case it is always useful to carefully read the labels of the garments. For the laundry For best results ACE BLEACH CLASSICA must be used separately from the detergent. This is because the two products can interact with each other and reduce their washing potential.
