PROTOPHOS UREA PHOSPHATE 14.54 KG. 25
PROTOPHOS 14-54 is a balanced synthesis of phosphates bound, through the action of protons (acidifiers), to the amide urea to form an adduct, and to the ammonium ion.
The formation of the adduct hinders the volatilization of nitrogen allowing the plant to optimize its absorption. Nitrogen losses are further reduced by the acidity of the product which deactivates the urease enzyme contained in the soil, thus slowing down the urea hydrolysis reaction. This makes PROTOPHOS 14-54 a formulation particularly suitable in cases of highly calcareous soils. These soils benefit from the contribution of PROTOPHOS 14-54 also thanks to the fact that an increase in acidity makes available the nutritional elements rendered inactive by a high pH value.
The high acidifying power of PROTOPHOS 14-54 (pH 2.5 in a 0.1% solution) allows, in addition to nitrogen / phosphate nutrition, an unblocking action of the trace elements present in the soil and ensures a complete cleaning of the fertigation systems avoiding the accumulation of limestone. The use of PROTOPHOS 14-54 is therefore particularly advantageous if hard water is used for irrigation, avoiding blocking of the irrigation pipes and nozzles and therefore treatments with dangerous acids.
