Cobre Nordox® 75 WG

COMPOSITION

• Cuprous oxide 75%.
• Coformulants: clay minerals and wood extracts.
• Cobre Nordox® 75 WG is a cupric fungicide based on cuprous oxide (Cu2O), characterized by a concentration of copper metal equal to 75% and a formulation in very fine water dispersible granules (WG), which allow it a greater persistence on crops even after intense and prolonged rains.

• Origin of cuprous oxide
• Cuprous oxide occurs in nature in the form of a mineral, better known by the name of cuprite.
• It has the chemical formula Cu2O, a color that varies from dark red to orange-red depending on impurities and crystal size, and is insoluble in water.
• Thanks to its characteristics, cuprous oxide is the main form of copper used for: Protection of ship hulls (action against algae and molluscs).
• Pigment for the preparation of enamels and paints.
• Fungicide and bactericide in agriculture.
• The wording
• Hydrodispersible granule (WG): The WG formulation allows to obtain a formulation that is easy to prepare, without powders, and a perfect suspensivity even with low volumes of water used (300-400 liters / Ha).
• Thanks to the exclusive production process of Cobre Nordox® 75 WG, the particles are concave inside, a feature that allows them to be mixed in water without precipitating the formulation in the barrel and regardless of whether the cuprous oxide is insoluble in water.
• Small particle size: The smaller the particle size of a contact-acting product, the greater its effectiveness.
• Cobre Nordox® 75 WG is characterized by very small particle sizes (from 1 to 5 microns, of which 80% is less than 2 microns) which allow it to completely cover the treated leaf surface making it less sensitive to the attack of pathogens.
• Ecotoxicological profile
• Toxicological classification Cobre Nordox® 75 WG, despite being a 75% concentrated product, is exempt from toxicological classification (Not classified).
• The total absence of added pigments and the natural origin of all its co-formulants (wood extracts and clayey materials), have allowed its use also in organic farming as per certification
