- INSECTICIDES - NEMATOCIDES
- Requiem Prime
- New insecticide-acaricide of natural origin for greenhouse vegetables
- Requiem Prime based on terpenoid blend QRD 460 (mixture of 3 terpene derivatives: Alpha-Terpinene, D-limonene, Para-Cymene) synthesized following extraction from the Chenopodium ambrosioides plant. Requiem Prime is free from regulated residues (MRLs) and has no shortage time.
- The product controls numerous harmful insects including whiteflies (Trialerurodes vaporariorum, Bemisia tabaci), mites (Tetranychus urticae) and thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis) and acts rapidly by degrading the external cuticle of harmful insects and blocking their respiration and mobility. The action takes place by direct contact and local redistribution through the gas phase.
- Requiem Prime also has strong repellent properties that enhance its action and reduce the possibility of transmission of viruses.
- How and when to use
- Requiem Prime is authorized on numerous greenhouse horticultural crops. It is part of an integrated defense strategy where it represents an effective means to reduce the risk of the onset of resistance and to contain the overall content of waste at harvest. The optimal application temperatures are included in a range between 18-30 ° C.
