ZOLLAVERDE SEED MIXTURE FOR PRATO OMBRA ALREADYADA WITH FESTUCA AND LOIETTO KG. 1

• Mixture of fine texture ideal for private gardens with predominantly surfaces in the shade from deciduous trees or part of cold areas, exposed to the North. Carpet grassy consisting of cultivars of northern European origin characterized by coloring bright green even in the cold season, thanks to the combined presence of Festuca rubra rubra and Festuca rubra commutata. At full maturity, it presents itself a lot dense, fine and uniform. Compete with the roots of the trees present and therefore it is the best solution for the solution of the so-called problems of active shading from living elements (and not only from architectural structures). Tolerant of Mal Bianco, Filo Rosso, Dollar Spot and Microdochium snowy.

Composition:

• 35% Perennial Loietto Passion/Estella
• 20% Perennial Loietto Berlioz 1
• 35% Festuca rubra Maxima 1
• 10% Festuca rubra commutata Longfellow/Casanova

Terrain

• deep, draining of medium texture

Sowing period

• from February to November (skipping the months of maximum summer heat). Germination can take from 4 to 10 days in direct correlation with the temperatures of the ground (required soil temperature above 8°C)

Dosage

• Recommended 30-40 g/m2. Maximum doses are recommended in case of transemination with high temperatures and/or not perfect tillage of the seedbed

Cut

• make the first cut when the grass reaches 8-10 cm. In management annual, in full shade do not fall below 6 cm, while in mixed areas sun / shade mowing can be handled around 4 cm. Never remove more than 30% of the vegetation present

Nutrition

• phosphate fertilization at planting. In shade management opt for a N/K ratio 1:1,5 with no more than 20 units of Nitrogen sqm/year. In a situation of sun/ shade do not exceed more than 25 units of Nitrogen sqm / year

Irrigation

• at the plant keep the seedbed constantly damp so as not to stop the germination process. In summer irrigate with 6 mm/day of water and increase to 10 mm/day in full shade from deciduous trees

Phytostimulation

• schedule 4 biostimulant treatments between July and August to increase tolerance in the shade and environmental stress

Regeneration

• use the same mixture for the usual regeneration of late summer or late winter, performing a light verticut with takeaway of the felt with subsequent distribution of about 40-50 gr / sqm of Jade (or even Venus) to thicken the vegetation. Subsequent phosphate fertilization
