TECHNICAL FEATURES

• SaltGer LG is a liquid product specially prepared to overcome all the problems related to salinity and excess sodium in soils.
• 
  Due to its composition (calcium complexed with organic acids and sulfur) and the careful manufacturing process, SaltGer LG is able to prevent and treat the effects that occur in saline and saline sodium soils, i.e. calcium deficiency and excess of other ions (especially sodium).
  Plant development is difficult in these soils because:
  - in sodium soils the excess of sodium ions negatively affects the structure, aeration, permeability and determines the formation of crust inducing germination failures, low availability of water and nutrients;
  - in saline soils the excess of salts, in general, and of the sodium ion, in particular, in addition to determining the effects already described above, induces an increase in the osmotic pressure of the circulating solution, causing the so-called physiological thirst, i.e. a lower availability of water for crops even if present.
  SaltGer LG acts as follows: calcium replaces sodium in the soil and by a chemical-physical mechanism gives greater stability to the soil structure; the sulfur binds with the released sodium and forms a very soluble sulphate, which is easily eliminated.

• Warnings: SaltGer LG is compatible with the main fertilizers and plant protection products, with the exception of those with low pH (acids). Small tests are recommended before mixing.
