- NovaTec® Fluid 28 is a specialty nutrient solution with a high nitrogen content containing more than 70% of nitrogen in nitrifiable forms stabilized with the nitrifi cation inhibitor 3,4 Dimethylpyrazolophosphate (3,4 DMPP). The innovative formulation makes NovaTec® Fluid 28 particularly suitable for foliar treatments on extensive crops such as autumn winter cereals, corn and rice also in combination with pesticides and for fertigation applications in fruit and horticulture.
FOLIAR APPLICATION
- NovaTec® Fluid 28 is used in foliar fertilization of extensive crops to improve productivity and quality parameters (eg protein and gluten content in cereals). NovaTec® Fluid 28 also enhances the effectiveness of treatments with pesticides (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides), thanks to the activating, acidifying, wetting and tackifying action, replacing the adjuvant products normally used with agropharmaceuticals. Given the large number of commercial formulations, in the case of mixtures with agropharmaceuticals, it is advisable to carry out preventive tests for miscibility and to follow the indications of COMPO Expert.
APPLICATION IN FERTIGATION
- NovaTec® Fluid 28 applied in fertigation allows to obtain important productive and environmental benefits:
ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS
- The nitrifi cation inhibitor 3,4 DMPP slows down the nitrifi cation process with consequent reduction of nitrogen losses due to leaching and gasification in the form of nitrates or oxides.
PRODUCTION EFFECTS
- The balanced supply of nitrogen in the nitric and ammonia forms and the action of the nitrifi cation inhibitor favor a greater absorption of ammonia nitrogen with evident advantages for the plant in terms of energy and metabolism.
- The greater absorption of nitrogen in the ammoniacal form also induces the acidification of the rhizosphere, promoting a better absorption of phosphorus and the main microelements, in particular iron.
- The use of NovaTec® Fluid 28 also shows positive effects on the production of cytokinins and on the metabolism of polyamines.
- NovaTec® Fluid 28 is a liquid formulation that is easy to use in fertigation (even with precision systems) of fruit and vegetable crops that require a balanced and constant supply of nitrogen during the development and growth phases of the fruit. NovaTec® Fluid 28 allows a lower frequency of fertigation interventions and a reduction of fertilizing units in the face of excellent qualitative and quantitative results
