Mangan Kela 5 is a formulation based on Manganese, completely chelated with EDTA, created for the prevention and treatment of physiopathies that occur during the physiological development of crops due to the lack or scarce availability of this element. Manganese acts as a catalyst in many physiological processes, among which the most important are: oxidation of the IAA following which auxins are formed; Hill reaction, a fundamental step in chlorophyll photosynthesis; reduction of nitrates to nitrites. For this reason, a lack of Manganese determines the blocking of auxin and chlorophyll synthesis. It also stimulates the production of ascorbic acid (Vit. C) and is an iron antagonist.
