IN OENOLOGY:
It serves as an antioxidant
in wine, the addition of citric acid increases the fixed acidity and the shelf life characteristics.
It is also used for cleaning:
- coffee machines
- domestic and industrial dishwashers
- for cleaning and descaling for hoses and pipes in agricultural irrigation.
- to lower the pH of the water for the preparation of slurries.
