• Porcelain, with graceful brightly colored inflorescences, spontaneously thrives in lawns and gardens where it forms real crawling carpets. Having fleshy leaves and stems, the plant behaves like a succulent. Collected as a wild herb or cultivated as an aromatic herb, porcelain can be used in cooking raw or cooked. It is always best to choose young shoots since older shoots have a bitter aftertaste, and enjoy fresh stems and vitamin-rich leaves.
