Technical features:

The formulations characterized by the Eclipse brand are used in order to protect greenhouse crops from unwanted radiation; each product can be applied to all types of greenhouse roofing: glass, soft plastic material (polyethylene tunnel) and rigid (acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC). Each Eclipse combines the shading characteristics with the particular ones of infrared opacity. Due to its reflection mechanism, it casts a shadow in the infrared range, which cannot be seen but heard: compared to a usual classic shade, the temperature in the greenhouse, in the presence of strong sunlight, is significantly lower.

Eclipse F4: Good shading capacity and good toughness.

The choice of the formulation depends on the crop to be protected and therefore on the duration of the cycle as well as on the climatic characteristics of the area where the product is applied.

USE:

The product can be easily diluted in water at concentrations of 1 kg of ECLIPSE in 2.5 - 5 kg of water, sufficient to protect a surface of 35-75 m2 of coverage. These dilutions correspond to thicknesses and therefore to progressively decreasing opacity factors. We recommend applying at the beginning of the sunny season, repeating, if necessary, in the period of maximum solar radiation (June); a single standard application ensures a shading between 60 and 70%. The application must be done on dry material, preferably clean and (only in the case of new material just assembled) degreased. Apply preferably in the hottest hours of the day. At the end of the season, the residual film can be easily removed with a water jet and brush, applied with movements parallel to the surface of the roof or with the specific, non-corrosive product, Varionet, according to the methods described for this product.
