Description
TIMAC PHYSIOLITH ORGANIC CORRECTIVE FERTILIZER BASED ON CALCIUM OXIDE AND MAGNESIUM KG. 25
- Range: Physiolith
- Typology: Mineral Corrective
- Physical Form: Granular
- PHYSIOLITH EC FERTILIZER
- Calcination substance
- Sea limestone - basic quality
Composition
- Total calcium oxide (CaO) 36%
- Total magnesium oxide (MgO) 1%
- The calcium carbonate of PHYSIOLITH derives entirely from calcium of marine origin. It is a fast-acting corrective, thanks to the microporosity of the individual particles (0.038 mm) and the high carbon solubility value, equal to 66%
- Allowed in organic farming
- Directly from the sea
- PHYSIOLITH is very rich in calcium
- and trace elements: ships from the sea
- specially equipped take it regularly
- Unique and inimitable structure
- Thanks to the slow-release coarse grain, it acts for a long time supplying the soil with calcium. It has a unique porous structure and a large exchange surface.
- Therefore it has great reactivity unlike the carbonates of terrestrial origin which have undergone an active sedimentation (subject to pressure) and which have a compact crystalline structure.
- Consequence on soil fertility
- The saturation of H + ions of the humo-clay complex does not allow the fixation of
- cations (NH4 +, K +) nor that of P2 05 by Ca ++ ions. Increase leaching.
- Furthermore, the reduced microbial activity does not allow a good transformation of the organic substance and in particular that of nitrogen. The absence of an intervention aimed at improving the structure and the pH of the soil leads to a poor exploitation of resources.
- Why use PHYSIOLITH in pre-sowing?
- Problems of acid soils:
- Acid PH slows down the absorption of nutrients by crops
- Acidity and compaction reduce the activity of microorganisms that transform the organic substance
- in nutrients
- Liquamation and manure cause a temporary acidification of the soil layer explored
- from the roots
1) Calcium of marine origin:
- * Correction of acid and sub acid pH in soils
- * Calcium nutrition in neutral and acidic soils: best Ca / K ratio in forages
2) Porous structure:
- * Improved soil aeration
- * Greater exchange surface for better absorption of nutrients
- * Environment favorable to pedo-fauna
3) Microelements of marine origin:
- * Contribution of micro and trace elements for balanced plant nutrition
