AZUROL BLUE LYMPH FOR HORTENSIA GR. 750

WITH GREENING ACTION

Composition - Mixture of 5.0 Fe + 0.07 Mo microelements.

Premise - The flowers of hydrangeas (Hydrangea macrophylla) contain

some pigments (belonging to the anthocyanin group) that change

color according to the level of acidity of the soil (from intense blue to pH

4.5 up to deep pink at pH 7.5) and the availability of some elements,

aluminum in particular. The color of the infi orescences is therefore

a sort of visual indicator of the reaction and the state of the ground.

Some exceptions are white hydrangeas

and from the pink hydrangea of the "Pia" variety (among the smallest of the species),

whose colors are immutable regardless of the pH of the soil.

Characteristics - Specific corrective for the bluing of pink flowers,

reds and violets of hydrangeas or, more simply, to intensify

their blue color. Formulated with soluble aluminum compounds,

iron and molybdenum, Azurol exerts an inducing action on the ground

pigmentation, as well as ensuring a more intense green of the leaves

regardless of the fertilizing treatment carried out.

Methods and doses of use

Plant

• In pot: mix 30 grams of Azurol every 5 liters of soil

for acidophilic plants;

• In open ground: 60 grams of Azurol per square meter, burying

slightly.

Maintenance - From the start of flowering (barely visible flowers),

carry out 3-4 waterings every 12-15 days with solutions of 10 grams

each liter of water.

For plants in the ground distribute 4-5 liters of solution per square meter.

Double the dose (20 grams per liter of water) in case it is not

the administration to the implant or when it is carried out

of plants already planted.

Warning - Azurol exerts its bluing action only

in the presence of acid reaction soils (pH 4.5-5.5); if such condition

was not satisfied, it is necessary to intervene by mixing with the soil

acid peat (page 16) or distribute it on the surface (30-50 liters

per sqm.) burying it slightly.

At each watering, we also recommend the use of Acquolina (page 36)

at a dose of 2 caps, measure every 3 liters of water.

Avoid planting in calcareous soils.
