TECHNICAL FEATURES

• Volare is a systemic fungicide, based on fluopicolide and propamocarb, for the control of downy mildew of various horticultural crops both in open fields and in greenhouses. The crops on which the product is authorized are: potato, onion, cucumber, melon, watermelon, numerous kinds of salads and aromatic herbs.
• The mixture of the two active ingredients allows a perfect synergy of activity that is expressed through an effective control at the level of leaves, stems and fruits; all these plant organs are protected thanks to the translaminar and systemic properties of Volare.
• The systemic component protects all tissues even those in active growth or not directly perfused, the translaminar component binds tenaciously to the surface layer and remains there for a long time, extending the protection to several days after the treatment.

Main benefits

• In addition to its excellent effectiveness against downy mildew, thanks to the two different mechanisms of action it is an excellent tool to prevent the onset of resistance phenomena.
• Flying is not very washable and after a few hours its effectiveness is not modified by heavy rains; thanks to these characteristics it has established itself as a reference standard for the defense of potatoes from downy mildew in the countries of central and northern Europe.

Advice for correct use

• It is used in advance respecting the label doses and maintaining the intervals indicated.

• In all the experiences made in years of application, no cases of poor miscibility with other products have ever been reported. In addition, the blend of Volare with other pesticides registered and used on the crops on the label showed a good selectivity towards the crop.
