KITCHEN HERBS CHAMOMILE SEEDS

• Chamomile is an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family and known since ancient times for its remarkable sedative and calming properties. The chamomile plant has taproot roots and a bushy habit, with more or less branched stems starting from the base. The flower heads, 1-2 cm in diameter, are dried by arranging them in thin layers in the shade; they are then kept in airtight glass containers away from sources of light and humidity.
