Description
WILD HERBS SEEDS OF MELISSA MOLDAVICA
- Melissa Moldavica is a plant native to the southern regions of Siberia and the Himalayan area, but is now also naturalized in Central and Eastern Europe. Annual plant with erect stem, usually 60 cm tall, but which can reach 150 cm. The leaves are dark green and covered with short hairs. The flowers have a calyx of about 10 cm, typically tubular bilabiate. Younger leaves and shoots are used to give the preparations a delicate lemon scent, and therefore to flavor fish, salads and fruit salads, or to prepare sauces, teas and drinks.
