• Sage is an easily cultivated aromatic plant that belongs to the Labiate family. Characterized by fragrant and velvety oval-shaped leaves, it has a herbaceous stem which, as it grows, tends to become woody. It is mainly used with very tasty dishes as its strong aroma would overpower the flavor of more delicate foods.
