Description
WILD HERBS ROSOLINE SEEDS
- Rosoline, also called Rosolacci or Paparine, is the local name, especially typical of Veneto, which is given to the young basal rosettes of the poppy plant. Everyone knows how to recognize the poppy plant, but it is not so easy, however, to recognize the young and tender seedlings, only these suitable for consumption. The tender poppy buds, collected in early spring, are delicious in salads, simply seasoned with oil and lemon. The leaves of the basal rosettes, when they are more mature, are used cooked and seasoned like spinach, mixed with wild beets or other spontaneous herbs.
