• Watercress is a perennial aromatic plant belonging to the cruciferous family, characterized by rapid growth. Watercress has oval leaves and small white flowers that open in summer. In the kitchen we use the leaves characterized by a slightly spicy and sour taste. Watercress should be harvested during the flowering period before the flavor becomes too acidic.
