WILD HERBS SEEDS OF RAPE OR WILD RADISH

• Rapastrello is a biennial herbaceous plant up to 80 cm high, common in uncultivated grounds, in vegetable gardens and at the edges of paths. The stem is branched at the top and bristly at the base. The basal leaves are up to 15 cm long, the cauline leaves are smaller. The flowers are arranged in elongated racemes, and are light yellow. The edible part is mainly represented by the leaves and the florets. In some areas the roots are also consumed.
